Cranbrook falls to U of D Jesuit 40-3; drops to 1-1 on the season.

The Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Cranes (1-1) fell to the University of Detroit (2-0) Cubs 40-3 in CHSL conference play.   The win gives U of D lead in the all time series between the two teams 2-1.


Cranbrook managed only a 34-yard Chase Paulus field goal in the game.  The U of D offense scored early and often.


“We played against a team with great talent.” said Cranes Head Coach Ben Jones, “U of D was well- coached and executed well.”


Cranbrook senior Jacob Peruski had 10 tackles in the game, along with a 61-yard punt return. 


“Our division is highly competitive.  Hats off to U of D for a good game”, said Coach Jones. 


Both teams move on to CHSL crossover games, U of D moves on to face Brother Rice.  Cranbrook moves on to face Riverview Gabriel Richard at home.
